Sabres miss May for one to two weeks with broken arm

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Sabres left wing Brad May will be sidelined a week or two after breaking a bone in his left forearm in Friday's 3-3 tie against the New York Rangers.

May fractured the radius bone in his left forearm after he was struck in the arm by a shot, team officials announced Sunday.

May, 24, missed only one of Buffalo's first 62 games and was fifth on the team in scoring with 12 goals and 35 assists. He played in 115 consecutive games before going down with a broken bone in his right hand last March.
